Bio
I live in Los Angeles and have a degree in graphic design. I began
my career as an advertising art director and now I am a full-time illustrator.
I like to knit things that have a vintage or alternative look. Sometimes
I will see something I like in a store and instead of buying it I will
figure out how to make it myself, improving it along the way.
Statement
This laptop cover was knitted using worsted weight acrylic yarn (the cheap
stuff!) The main body of the cover was knitted first, the portrait was
knitted separately and sewn on. The portrait was knitted in 3 colors from
a chart generated by knitPro. The entire project took about two weeks.
