Each frame in this needlecraft animation will be a 32x24 stitched artwork. The narrative will reflect a fragmented history of workers in the textile industry from early to late capitalism, including worker testimonies, resistant acts and unionization. The first sketch will narrate the Triangle Shirt Waist tragedy. See more about the project here.
